Gotta admit, we didn’t understand why people were falling all over themselves for the first Tina Fey/Sarah Palin SNL skit. It was OK but nothing great and definitely not deserving of the hype.
However, last night’s Tina Fey/ Sarah Palin / Katie Couric parody interview was fantastic. Fey looked much more comfortable in the role and the skit hit all the right comedic notes.
In related news, the Barack Obama vs. John McCain debate skit was painful. So much to make fun of (Bam telling McCain he’s right nine times, McCain looking like he’s about to yell at you for being on his lawn, etc.) and it missed the mark completely.
