There are a few immutable truths in life: 1) death, 2) taxes, and 3) you can never trust a woman.

Speaking of Sarah Palin (long, looong and innappropriate route to get to the story there), the McCain campaign is getting increasingly agitated at the Alaskan Governor for being a “rogue” and going “off script” as the election nears.

“She is a diva. She takes no advice from anyone…She does not have any relationships of trust with any of us, her family or anyone else.
Also, she is playing for her own future and sees herself as the next leader of the party. Remember: Divas trust only unto themselves, as they see themselves as the beginning and end of all wisdom.”

Not that Captain Foot In Mouth is much better, but damn do you think John McCain wishes he would’ve vetted Palin a little more now?
In somewhat related news, can everyone who is making a stink over Sarah Palin’s $150,000 shopping spree at least admit that she’s looking better and better every day because of it? Damn. At least it’s money well spent.
